If you’re looking for that ‘special’ paper that doesn’t look and feel like a photo print, try our 100% acid free archival art papers.
Made from either cotton rag or alpha cellulose (tree paper) these papers offer a unique surface texture combined with extremely long life (400 years). We use Hahnemuhle paper, a company that’s been making paper for over 425 years! They have their own coating mill and offer a vast range of substrates, roll made, mould made, various surfaces, various fibre combinations like cotton, paper, bamboo and more.
We stock 3 types of paper, and grade them simply as smooth, textured and parchment. Each enjoys the same archival qualities, but have very different surfaces. The parchment paper is mould made so has a unique finish that varies from sheet to sheet. The textured paper has a fine texture that adds sharpness to soft images, while the smooth paper is excellent for black & white prints that are highly detailed and use a lot of gray scales.
