The colour correction of images is the single most important factor in creating a print with the correct mood, tone or accuracy. Years of experience in the photographic processing field has taught me that 'correct' colour is less important than the right mood or tone. For instance, a bride and groom shot in candlelight creates a warm loving mood that is absolutely 'killed' by full colour correction. A sunset shot can be enhanced to create strong colours with deep black silhouettes, even when that's not how the photographer saw the scene with his 'eyes'.
At OzPrintShop we offer 2 levels of correction - the standard 'fix the digital camera' pics, and the Professional - get the best out of this image, tone, colour, contrast, lightness etc. Both services are done with different software and subsequently take different amounts of time. Either way, the resultant 'new' images usually are significantly better than the 'raw' camera image....
