This can be done for aesthetic reasons, as some mediocre photos make fantastic paintings, but it can also be used as a form of restoration, as low resolution images can be brought to life and enlarged way beyond their perceived capacity.
To view some great examples of photo art, got to our gallery and check out some work done by local Coffs Harbour photographers. I personally finf this new medium to be exciting and beautiful.
The Digital Paint Service is available to all customers, both personal and over the net. Prices vary according to the amount of time taken. I have painted 3 images in 2 hours, just to improve the tone and detail. Airbrushing portraits takes a little longer.
If you are curious, let us know. One of my customers is selling this art as quick as he can create it, and remember, once you get a piece painted, it can be sold over and over, unlike traditional original paintings.
I'd like to thank Danny Bell for sharing his time and knowledge about this method of art. He is truly a master. It has taken him years to understand the concepts and then to create new and exciting forms of art. Underneath, it's his creativity that's being fuelled by technology.
