Liquid Laminating
Liquid laminate is applied with a spray gun in a spray booth.

The laminate is custom made for inkjet products and provides both a UV inhibitor and scratch resistant surface. When used on canvas, it reduces edge cracking, improves colour tone and depth, makes the surface washable with a soft wet cloth and prevents air borne contaminants from degrading the emulsion, and doubles the surface life by reducing discolouration.

Liquid laminate is applied to all canvas products by default, unless requested otherwise. 3 coats are applied to achieve a smooth semi gloss look.

Other photo papers can be coated, especially before glueing onto hard boards or fomecor.

Price is $30 per square metre (minimum charge $20).

Washable matt sprays are also available for all photo and art papers. The spray reduces contamination by air borne pollutents and handling marks, and resists water. Excellent for Professional finish prior to mounting or framing under glass.
