Good Professional Photographers are hard to find because of the sheer number of weekend photographers who advertise in local directories and newspapers. Below is a list (not complete though) of serious, hard working, trained and accredited photographers in the Coffs Coast Region, plus a few clients of mine outside the region.
When searching for a photographer keep in mind that photography covers a vast field of expertise - portraits, commercial, studio, child, sports, school, action, wedding, and also skills in lighting, balance, business sense, colour, technical, people skills, personality, promptness and prophecy.
Think I’m kidding - ring a photographer with a simple request and see how many questions they ask you. Try and get an accurate quote without accurate details. If you’re shopping on price you will get exactly what you asked for - a cheap photographer.
The people and businesses below have been trading for many years and rely on word of mouth for work. This doesn’t happen if the finished work is of low quality. As professionals they will provide the best service in the best time frame.

Rob has been capturing the people and place of Coffs Coast and other parts of Australia for many years.
His images have featured in national, state and regional newspapers, in magazines and on the Internet.
Rob has photographed media celebrities, people celebrating their start in matrimony and others rejoicing in many years of marriage, sports people in action, kids – being kids and portraiture of families and corporate clients.
Events and festivals – many cultural, civic and sporting occasions have been recorded through Rob’s camera - from Australia Day Citizenship ceremonies to curry and chilli festivals and Olympic qualification football matches.
His passion includes capturing the landscape and light of Australia – from the coast to the country – from a helicopter over off-shore islands, on headlands overlooking coastlines, on top a frosty mountain at the crack of dawn and along the backroads and byways of regional Australia.
He enjoys meeting and working with people to capture and create their visions.
