Scanning
Most film types can be scanned by OzPrintShop.

We scan 35mm negatives at 2K and 4K (2000dpi and 4000dpi). The Noritsu scanner emulates an enlarger and alters the colour of the light source to produce stunning well balanced scans from all colour neg bases.

Transparancy film is scanned on the tried and trusted Nikon 5000ED for brilliantly crisp digital files.

120 film is scanned on a Nikon 9000ED scanner.

All scanners are glassless and feature Digital ICE to remove dust and scratches. We also a service to check the scan at 100% for any defects, and repair these in Photoshop.

Photos are scanned either on an Epson or Canon scanner depending on the requirements of the client.

Prints larger than A3, and 3d objects are photographed with a Canon 5D camera in raw, and fully colour corrected for reproduction.

Photoshop work is charged at $1.00 per minute to remove defects, adjust colour and tone,
add sharpening, and for file resizing for proofing.
Cost of disk is $5.50 to $11.00 depending on capacity.
