Uploading files and images is a great way to do business.
It saves time and money, and gets your order into the system almost immediately.
Small orders can be initiated by email. Don't forget to send details like name and phone number.
To upload using our File Transfer Protocol (ftp) you need to set up some parameters with us.
Do this by calling or emailing, and we will give you a secure connection to upload your files over the internet.
NOTES:
To minimise time and filesize, we ask that all uploaded files be sent in the following configuration
- Crop your image and size it to the print size required (don't send a poster file for a 6x4 print)
- Save the file at 180 or 250dpi, RGB, sRGB profile, as jpeg on 9 or 10 (high)
- If you do not know what these terms mean, please call for an explanation.
- Make sure your monitor is profiled to provide an accurate rendition. We will not redo prints that are uploaded unless we are at fault.
- Place photos of a similar size into a directory (folder) with that name. Be sure to mention millimetres, centimetres or inches.
- If you have multiples, make directories (folders) that clearly define your order.
- If you require other processing, like laminating, clearly define this on your order.
- Send a complete list of the order for complex orders so we can check the output.
- Extra charges may be incurred if filesizes are too large.
- Payment is required prior to shipping unless previous arrangements have been made, so have your credit card ready.
- Email a confirmation of the order. This is important. The order will not proceed until confirmation is received, and payment arranged.
- Allow 3 to 4 days for production and shipping of simple orders, 7 to 9 days for complex orders like canvas.
