ACRYLIC MOUNTING
Acrylic mounted prints are now available. In conjunction with Sawtell Framing we are now offering high gloss photos mounted under acrylic. This process has only been available in capital cities, but is now available exclusively on the Coffs Coast through OzPrintShop and Sawtell Framing (see ad).
If you’ve never seen an acrylic mounted print, then check out the samples at our shops. The finished product has a super high gloss finish that imparts a metallic effect on the mounted print. Colours are strong and vibrant, contrast is enhanced and sharpness is the best available. The acrylic print has a small box mount on the back so it sits off the wall by about 10mm. There is no frame, just the edge of the Acrylic. A special acrylic plastic is used which is super clear.
Currently only a few sizes are available, and prices start from $60 for an 8” x 12” finished frame - the price includes the print and gst.

your monitor is checked for colour accuracy and a custom profile is written to ensure
any program you run will display your images in a ‘standard’ fashion, eliminating
the difference between screen and print.

All materials are archival, some have life expectancies of 400 years. All product is ‘ink on paper’ process, not chemical, so is environmentally friendly with no chemical wastage, fumes or non-recyclable by-products.
